Discover the hidden natural wonders of Andalusia’s wild mountain interior with this bracing weekend in the great outdoors. We’ll forage for wild ingredients like local mushrooms, enjoy hearty rural fare in local countryside restaurants and trek to some of the most spectacular mountain locations in the Los Alcornocales Nature Park, including vast canyons and roaring rivers. Rest & recuperation comes courtesy of sumptuous group feasts and a private flamenco performance.

DAY 1 – SUNDAY 17 NOVEMBER 2024

DAY 2 – MONDAY 18 NOVEMBER 2024
After breakfast, we head out for a guided tour in the forest, foraging for local mushrooms! Lunch will take place in a local restaurant, where the mushroom theme continues! In the evening, we’ll enjoy a BBQ night at Karma La Herriza, featuring the mushrooms we harvested together.
DAY 3, TUESDAY 19 NOVEMBER 2024
After breakfast, we’ll begin the hike to the “Cañón de las Buitreras”, an impressive rock canyon more than 100 meters deep, located in the “Los Alcornocales” Natural Park. We will enjoy the trail offering spectacular views and explore the canyon and its natural formations upon arrival, visiting the source of the beautiful Guadiaro River, followed by a hard-earned group feast back at Karma La Herriza. We’ll then enjoy a slower-paced afternoon, with a wine tasting followed by a flamenco show with dinner.
