Step into Shakespeare’s world with history, theatre, and hands-on adventure for the whole family at Karma Salford Hall.
We’ll set the scene with a lively Tudor feast complete with court jesters, then explore his birthplace, Stratford-upon-Avon, and enjoy lunch at the town’s oldest Tudor pub. Join in on scavenger hunts, crafts, drama games and dress-ups designed for the children, whilst parents enjoy a well-earned moment to relax.
Finished off with an outdoor Shakespearean play paired with a sumptuous picnic dinner under the stars.
It’s creative, curious and full of olde English family moments you’ll be talking about long after the curtain falls.
ITINERARY
DAY 1 FRIDAY 17 APRIL 2026
- Check-in at Karma Salford Hall
- Welcome drinks with fun Shakespeare name cards
- Evening:
- Family Tudor Feast with jesters
- Kids’ bedtime storytelling in the library while parents enjoy drinks by the fire
DAY 2 SATURDAY 18 APRIL 2026
- Morning:
- Visit Shakespeare’s birthplace, his wife’s cottage & more
- Family-friendly guided tour with a kids’ scavenger hunt
- Lunch at a Tudor-style pub (the oldest in Stratford-upon-Avon)
- Afternoon split:
- Parents: Have their own time
- Kids: Drama games, crafts and dressing up at Karma Salford Hall
- Evening: Outdoor Shakespeare play (short and fun for kids too) with a picnic dinner
DAY 3 SUNDAY 19 APRIL 2026
- Morning:
- Families rehearse short, playful Shakespeare scenes
- Try foam sword-fighting, dancing & acting
- Lunch: Garden picnic with medals and mini-performances
- Afternoon: Relax or explore before heading home
