Kent’s celebrated oyster coast opens up to Karma Group Members, with hands-on farming discovery and Michelin-starred dining as part of the Whitstable Oyster Festival.
Meet the oyster farmers of Whitstable, hear their stories, and taste their fresh harvest with drinks onshore. Then, settle in for a late lunch at The Sportsman, a highly-acclaimed Michelin-star pub, to complete this maritime journey with a decadent five-course tasting menu. Transfers will be provided to and from Whitstable train station for your ease (and to avoid the need for a designated driver!)
ITINERARY
FRIDAY 26 SEPTEMBER 2025
- 8:00 am – Arrive at Whitstable
- 9:00 am – Oyster farm tour: learn about sustainable oyster farming and Whitstable’s oyster history from a real oyster farmer
- After the tour – Enjoy oysters and drinks back on shore
- 1:30 pm – 5-course tasting menu with wine at The Sportsman, a Michelin-star pub on the beach, with wine
- 4:00 pm – Return to Whitstable
