Celebrate the vibrant traditions of Sikkim with the Asar Pandhra festival. As the main staple food, rice holds a special place in the hearts of the Sikkimese. The term ‘Asar’ in Nepali refers to the months of June and July, signaling the sowing season, and ‘Pandhra’ means 15th. Falling between mid-June to early July, this festival beautifully showcases the bond between the people and their fields. Join us, and experience first-hand the rich customs, heartfelt rituals, and genuine warmth of northeast India’s cherished festival.
