Wade into the pristine waters of Hawkesbury River for Sydney’s most exclusive oyster experience. Transfer from Sydney’s CBD via road and water, before donning waders on and heading out to our private in-water table, where expert farmers reveal the secrets of Australia’s finest oysters. Learn to shuck, taste, and toast – all while standing in the very waters where the oysters grow.
ITINERARY
Saturday, 22 february 2025
- 10am: Meet at a central Sydney location for your transfer to Sydney Oyster Farm
- 11:30am: Arrive at Kangaroo Wharf for the boat ride over to the oyster farm for a guided tour, learning to shuck your own oysters along the way!
After this, we’ll be seated at a private oyster tasting table right in the water to enjoy 18 oysters per person (if you can manage!) and fresh prawns, along with wine, beer and non-alcoholic refreshments. Waders are provided to ensure we stay dry. - 2:30pm: Transfers back to Sydney
- 4pm: Arrive back in central Sydney for a farewell drink, toasting to our oyster-farming success!

ESSENTIAL NOTES:
- Waders provided (shoe sizes required)
- Suitable for independently mobile guests – must be able to access and disembark the boat and tour sites.
- In the event of rain, fresh live oysters will be harvested from a nearby unaffected estuary.
- Due to limited capacity, maximum of 2 tickets per membership.
