JOURNEY INTO THE HEART OF CO TU CULTURE

Embark on an immersive two-day cultural odyssey into the world of Vietnam’s Co Tu people. Venture beyond the familiar to Bho Hoong village, where ancient traditions come alive in steep-roofed houses and time-honored crafts. Experience the warmth of tribal hospitality, master the art of Bronze Age crossbow shooting, and witness the mesmerizing brocade weaving that defines Co Tu artistry. ITINERARY

DAY 1 – WEDNESDAY, 26TH FEBRUARY 2025

DAY 2 – THURSDAY, 27TH FEBRUARY 2025

• 7:30 am : Depart from the resort for Co Tu village
• 9:30 am : Arrive to a warm welcome with tea or a shot of locally made wine. Visit traditional houses, experience daily life in these unique abodes, and learn the significance of woodcarvings and ornaments.
• 11 am : Arriving at Bho Hoong and meet a member of the Co Tu tribe, who will show us the iconic steep-roofed houses and explain the ancient Co Tu Culture, including crossbow hunting – a practice intrinsic to Co Tu culture that has survived since the Bronze Age.
• 12:30 am : Enjoy lunch comprising local dishes such as rice, barbecue, forest vegetables.
• 1:30 pm : Check in at Fivitel Dong Giang Heaven Gate where we will spend the night.
• 2:30 pm : Arrive at Droong village for a Co Tu brocade weaving demonstration.
• 6:00 pm : The evening highlight is a Co Tu feast featuring traditional dishes, a dance performance and a chance to interact with the villagers in a relaxed setting.

DAY 3 – FRIDAY, 28th FEBRUARY 2025

• 7:30 am : Wake up to the sounds of the village coming to life. Enjoy breakfast and hot
  Vietnamese coffee as you watch the Co Tu, heading to the fields and preparing the day’s meals.
• 08:30 am : Morning Trek with a local guide and an opportunity to learn to shoot a crossbow!
• 10:00 am : Depart for Hoi An
