Some of the Maldives’ best fishing begins just beyond the deck of Karma Fushi.
Spend six days sailing through Baa Atoll, a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve where exceptionally clear reef waters meet deep Indian Ocean channels and everything from vivid snapper and grouper to Yellowfin Tuna, Giant Trevally and Wahoo can be found beneath the surface.
For experienced anglers, mornings begin early with dedicated sportfishing boats heading out for trolling, jigging and casting across some of the atoll’s most productive waters. Back aboard Karma Fushi, the pace becomes more relaxed, with afternoon reef fishing, traditional handlines and optional night sessions open to everyone.
And the reward doesn’t end with the catch. Expect fresh sashimi lunches, Catch & Cook dinners with curated wine pairings, a seafood feast and a barbecue beneath the stars featuring fish caught that very day.
Between sessions, swap rods for snorkelling at Anga Faru, watersports at Dusit Thani, island visits and unhurried time on deck before a final Maldivian evening of local flavours and Bodu Beru dancing.
Six days of serious fishing, fresh-from-the-ocean dining and life aboard Karma Fushi in one of the Maldives’ most extraordinary atolls.
ITINERARY
DAY 1 – ARRIVAL – FRIDAY 05 MARCH 2027
- 1:30 PM: Airport pick-up and Dhoni ride to Karma Fushi.
- 2:00 PM: Welcome drink, onboarding and safety procedures before sailing to the first destination.
- 3:30 PM: Gear set-up and preparation.
- 5:00 PM: Welcome drinks at Manta Bar and orientation for the trip ahead.
- 7:30 PM: Welcome dinner.
DAY 2 – YELLOWFIN PURSUIT – SATURDAY 06 MARCH 2027
- 5:00 AM: Sunrise sportfishing trip targeting Yellowfin Tuna and other pelagic species.
- 9:00 AM: Breakfast onboard.
- 10:30 AM: Jigging and trolling sessions around nearby reefs.
- 1:00 PM: Fresh sashimi lunch featuring the morning catch.
- 4:00 PM: Afternoon reef fishing.
- 7:30 PM: Fresh catch dinner prepared by the onboard chef.
- 8:00 PM: Optional night fishing from the back deck.
DAY 3 – REEFS, LEGENDS & BIG GTs – SUNDAY 07 MARCH 2027
- 5:00 AM: Early morning trip targeting Giant Trevally and coral trout.
- 9:30 AM: Breakfast onboard.
- 11:00 AM: Fish preparation and cooking demonstration.
- 1:00 PM: Lunch onboard and debrief with the fishing guide.
- 4:00 PM: Sunset predator fishing.
- 7:00 PM: Catch & Cook dinner paired with curated wines.
- 8:00 PM: Optional night fishing from the back deck.
DAY 4 – RESORT ISLAND ADVENTURE – MONDAY 08 MARCH 2027
- 6:00 AM: Sunrise sail to Dusit Thani.
- 7:30 AM: Breakfast onboard.
- 9:00 AM: Enjoy watersports at the resort island, including Jet Ski and SeaBob experiences.
- 12:30 PM: Lunch at the resort island.
- 3:30 PM: Return to Karma Fushi and enjoy leisure time onboard.
- 7:30 PM: Seafood degustation dinner onboard.
- 8:30 PM: Free time for stargazing or relaxing on deck.
DAY 5 – CASTAWAY & TRADITIONAL FISHING – TUESDAY 09 MARCH 2027
- 6:00 AM: Sunrise sail to Anga Faru.
- 7:30 AM: Breakfast onboard.
- 9:30 AM: Snorkelling at Anga Faru Reef.
- 12:30 PM: Lunch onboard.
- 2:00 PM: Leisure time onboard.
- 5:00 PM: Sunset fishing with traditional handlines from a Dhoni.
- 7:30 PM: Barbecue dinner beneath the stars, featuring your catch.
DAY 6 – LOCAL DISCOVERY & FAREWELL – WEDNESDAY 10 MARCH 2027
- 7:30 AM: Breakfast onboard.
- 9:00 AM: Optional final fishing or snorkelling session.
- 12:30 PM: Lunch onboard.
- 3:00 PM: Visit a local island for a cultural walk and crafts.
- 7:30 PM: Farewell Malh4ian dinner onboard, accompanied by traditional Bodu Beru dancing on the top deck.
DAY 7 – DEPARTURE – THURSDAY 11 MARCH 2027
- 7:30 AM: Breakfast onboard.
- 10:30 AM: Debarkation and Dhoni transfer to the airport.
Terms & Conditions
- All bookings are non-transferable and may not be sold, assigned or transferred to another individual or member once confirmed.
- The attendee names provided at time of booking must be the exact attendees at the event, unless explicit approval is granted by Karma Concierge.
- All membership fees must be current at both the time of booking and the date of the event in order to attend. Refund of any monies / points used will be given subject to a minimum of 30 days notice being given.
