DAY 3 – THURSDAY, 27 JUNE 2024
After breakfast, we’ll ead down South with Matilda, our Resort GM and resident of the quaint coastal village of Betalbatim as we explore the lost art of making ‘Pao’ in her neighbouring village – Majorda. Bread-making in Goa is a traditional occupation and the famous ‘poder’ – bread man is much revered in local Goan society. Join local experts from Soul Travelling as we spend time with the local ‘poder’ in his traditional bakery – kneading and baking ‘poi’, making your own Panino from a ‘poi’ giving it an Italian twist and visiting the local cargo railway station in Majorda.
