Spend the morning uncovering East Bali’s royal past, then trade palaces for a table by the sea.
Begin with a welcome dinner before setting out the next morning to explore the heritage of the Karangasem Kingdom, visiting Tirtagangga, Puri Agung and Taman Ujung – three remarkable places that tell the story of this historic corner of Bali.
From there, head to Virgin Beach for fresh seafood at a local beachfront café, followed by an easy afternoon of swimming, relaxing on the sand and taking in the coast.
Return to the resort for a communal Indonesian dinner, rounding out a day that moves effortlessly from royal history to island life.
A beautifully varied East Bali escape of heritage, local flavour and enjoying time by the sea.
