Every great series deserves a memorable finale – so to celebrate International Coffee Day, The Roast Society heads to the misty hills of Coorg in India for one final chapter.
This exclusive three-day members’ escape at Coorg Wilderness Resort & Spa invites you to experience coffee where it begins – amongst the plantations, forests and landscapes that have shaped one of India’s most celebrated coffee regions. From guided estate walks and tasting sessions to chocolate-making experiences and roastery visits, the weekend offers a deeper connection to the stories behind every cup.
Balanced with sunrise birdwatching, yoga, sunset treks, authentic local cuisine and time to unwind in nature, the experience captures everything The Roast Society has celebrated from the very beginning: craftsmanship, discovery and the simple pleasure of a cup of coffee.
ITINERARY
DAY 1 FRIDAY 2 OCTOBER 2026
- 3:00 PM: Arrival and check-in at Coorg Wilderness Resort & Spa. Traditional welcome drink and leisure time
- 4:30 PM – 5:30 PM: High tea at the Lobby Deck
- 5:45 PM – 6:30 PM: Guided trek to Sunset Point with panoramic views across the Coorg hills
- 7:30 PM: Dinner at the resort
DAY 2 SATURDAY 3 OCTOBER 2026
- 7:00 AM – 7:45 AM: Bird watching with the resort naturalist
- 8:00 AM – 9:30 AM: Breakfast at the resort
- 11:45 AM: Depart for Mercara Gold Estate
- 12:40 PM – 1:30 PM: Traditional Coorg-style thali lunch
- 1:30 PM – 4:00 PM
- Guided coffee plantation walk
- Coffee cultivation and processing insights
- Roastery and Coffee Museum visit
- Coffee tasting session
- Cocoa plantation tour
- Chocolate-making demonstration
- Bean-to-bar chocolate tasting experience
- 4:00 PM: Return to the resort
- 4:30 PM – 5:30 PM: High tea at the Lobby Deck
- Evening at Leisure: Enjoy resort facilities with optional spa treatments and indoor activities
- 7:30 PM onwards: Dinner at the resort
DAY 3 SUNDAY 4 OCTOBER 2026
- 8:00 AM – 8:30 AM: Guided yoga session
- 8:30 AM – 9:30 AM: Breakfast
- 10:30 AM – 12:00 PM (subject to departure schedules):
- Wilderness walk
- Fish feeding experience
- Organic farming tour
- Animal husbandry experience

Terms & Conditions
- All bookings are non-transferable and may not be sold, assigned or transferred to another individual or member once confirmed.
- The attendee names provided at time of booking must be the exact attendees at the event, unless explicit approval is granted by Karma Concierge.
- All membership fees must be current at both the time of booking and the date of the event in order to attend. Refund of any monies / points used will be given subject to a minimum of 30 days notice being given.
