Experience the magic of Goa’s vibrant Sao Joao Festival! On this two-day adventure, we dive in and discover the hidden sides of this iconic destination with traditional craft workshops, guided village tours and gastronomic delights by Chef Antao complete with local music serenades. Cap off your experience with a unique tasting tour, exploring the distinct flavours of the local feni liquor – a true Goan speciality. This is more than just a festival; it’s a cultural immersion you won’t forget!
ITINERARY
DAY 1 – SATURDAY, 22 JUNE 2024
Check-in
DAY 2 – SUNDAY, 23 JUNE 2024
- 11.00am : Join our activities team on a ‘kopel’ making workshop at the Three Monkeys Club followed by a guided tour across the local villages to witness the traditions of Sao Joao.
- 01:00pm : Back to the Benaulim Brasserie for a traditional Sao Joao special lunch by Chef Antao. What’s more? we bring in local musicians to serenade you with some Sao Joao special tunes and the beats of the ‘ghumot’ – a traditional Goan percussion instrument.
DAY 3 – MONDAY, 24 JUNE 2024
- 12:00pm onwards – Fruit and Feni – the two important aspects of Sao Joao. Enjoy a wide array of local fruits and feni cocktails by the pool with our team hosting traditional games and contests in true Sao Joao Spirit!
