Join Power of X for the Eclipse of the Century!
On 2 August 2027, daylight will disappear over Egypt for 6 minutes and 23 seconds. It will be the longest total solar eclipse visible on Earth until 2114 – and Power of X will be there with an exclusive experience on the Nile, for every extraordinary second.
From the sun deck of Karma Karnak, watch the partial phase build before the sky falls into darkness and the solar corona emerges above one of the world’s most storied landscapes. A celestial event generations will wait to witness, experienced from a vantage point on the river worthy of the occasion.
But the eclipse is only one part of an extraordinary journey through Egypt. Begin in Cairo with a private Egyptologist leading the way through the Grand Egyptian Museum, including the complete Tutankhamun Galleries, witness the Great Pyramids and Sphinx, before travelling south to Luxor and boarding Karma Karnak.
Here, ancient Egypt unfolds around you – from a dawn hot air balloon flight over the Valley of the Kings to remarkable encounters with the temples, tombs and monuments that have stood along the Nile for millennia.
Then comes the moment everything has been building towards. Following an expert eclipse briefing, gather on deck as totality approaches and at 1:05 pm, the sun disappears for more than six unforgettable minutes. Afterwards, celebrate over a champagne lunch, before taking to the water for a private Nile cruise and a final evening together.
Six minutes and 23 seconds of eclipse that will not be matched for generations, surrounded by six days of ancient Egypt experienced in extraordinary style. This is exactly the kind of moment Power of X was built for.

DAY 1 THURSDAY 29 JULY 2027
- Attendees arrive in Cairo
- Karma Group representative meets guests at Cairo International Airport
- Private transfer to centrally-located hotel
- Hosted welcome dinner and drinks
DAY 2 FRIDAY 30 JULY 2027
- Grand Egyptian Museum, including the complete Tutankhamun Galleries
- Great Pyramids and Great Sphinx
- Khan el-Khalili Bazaar & Markets
- Private Egyptologist guide throughout
- All meals and transfers arranged
DAY 3 SATURDAY 31 JULY 2027
- Morning flight to Luxor
- Private transfer to Karma Karnak on arrival
- Afternoon at leisure onboard
- Evening: Karnak Sound & Light Show – 75 minutes through the illuminated temple courts, concluding beside the Great Sacred Lake
DAY 4 SUNDAY 01 AUGUST 2027
- Before dawn: hot air balloon experience over the West Bank, Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut’s Temple and the Nile floodplain at sunrise
- Overland visit to Valley of the Queens, Valley of the Kings, Temple of Hatshepsut and Colossi of Memnon

- All bookings are non-transferable and may not be sold, assigned or transferred to another individual or member once confirmed.
- The attendee names provided at time of booking must be the exact attendees at the event, unless explicit approval is granted by Karma Concierge.
- All membership fees must be current at both the time of booking and the date of the event in order to attend. Refund of any monies / points used will be given subject to a minimum of 30 days notice being given.
