Hoi An saves one of its most memorable experiences for the full moon.
Settle into Karma Duyên with a Vietnamese welcome dinner before spending the next day getting hands-on with some of the town’s best-loved traditions. Learn to brew Vietnamese coffee, create your own lantern with a local artisan, then sit down to lunch featuring Hoi An’s famous white rose dumplings.
As evening arrives, head into Hoi An Ancient Town as the full-moon celebrations begin. Take to the Hoai River by boat and release a flower lantern onto the water, joining a beautiful local tradition of wishes, reflection and glowing lantern light before dinner in town.
With selected dates throughout 2027, there are plenty of chances to experience Hoi An at one of its most atmospheric times.
A beautiful local escape of Vietnamese culture, flavours, hands-on craft and an evening under Hoi An’s full moon.
